Brick House was first created by the J.C. Newman Company,
America’s Oldest Cigar family, around 1895 as a Cuban Puro. Today,
third
generation cigar makers, Eric and Bobby Newman have resurrected this
vintage cigar brand by blending aged Nicaraguan tobaccos with a hearty
Havana Subido wrapper to match the rich, well balanced flavor of their
grandfather’s Brick House cigars. Brick House was the childhood home
of J.C. Newman and not only served as the family’s residence, but also
as the town’s tavern, where of course, cigar smoking was welcome.
The competition in 2009 was tough, this was the best
production year
this decade and it was BRICK HOUSE that stood out among the
best. BRICK HOUSE is a winner in every sense of the word,
quality,
consistency, taste and most certainly value. Our congratulations go
out to The Newman Family for bringing back BRICK HOUSE.
BRICK HOUSE Toro measures 6” x 52 and is the 2009 Cigar of the
Year.
Brick House is medium bodied, intensely rich in flavor with
balance. Subtleties including hints of spice that build to a dark
chocolate and cedar. BRICK HOUSE has no lingering aftertaste but
an essence of
aroma that keeps you coming back home, home to a Brick House. Each
BRICK HOUSE cigar is Handmade in Nicaragua using a blend of all well
aged Nicaraguan tobaccos.
The competition was tough this year, but it was BRICK
HOUSE that
wins with a top notch cigar with quality, consistency and value…
a winner in every sense of the word!
CONGRATULATIONS
BRICK HOUSE (Toro) “The 2009 Cigar of the
Year”
